Hi Ladies,

I am new to the group, I am sorry I missed the movie tonight I wanted to come however my house is up for sale and that leaves my life up in the air!

Not fun.

That being said, I can’t wait to meet all of you. I am a PartyLite consultant and we offer SPA parties and so that might be something fun us Moms would like to do also…it involves chocolate!

Book club is interesting and the recipe swap is great too. Maybe every once and a while do a Learn a recipe night and at someone’s home they teach us how to make something they really love.

Is the book club continuing?
Yoga or any form of excersice would be great, a new studio also opened in Ajax.
Game night is fun, but finding a location that would let us play might be challenging and if having it at someones house where kids/spouse would be at home (maybe sleeping) isn’t really a night out.
Bingo or Casino is fun but sometimes short lived, but the restaurant food/deserts are okay.
Blue Jays or Argos games would be a special treat, either carpool or GO train.
Any food/recipe exchange would be great.
As you can see I’m up for anything.

I love the idea of a book swap! Great ideas, Chris.

On a related note, how about a clothing swap? Everyone brings gently worn clothing that they don’t wear/don’t like anymore. People try stuff on, swap clothing. Anything leftover gets donated to Goodwill (or someplace similar).

I think a board game night/euchre night/cribbage night would be great.

A yoga night could be fun – I go to a great yoga studio in Pickering and could see if we could get a special class scheduled & then go for coffee/tea afterwards. There would be a fee for this one.

The guest speaker idea is great. I think someone talking about parenting ideas would be great. There would be a fee for this one.

I love your ideas as well Chris. I would love a scrapbook lesson or other craft nights. Walks sound great as well.
