We’re going casual this week, ladies. We’ll start off at Quiznos in north Whitby and finish up the night at Tim Horton’s nearby.

Carly’s physiotherapist — credited with saving her sanity and girly bits — is coming out to chat with our group about the often-overlooked, but super-important pelvic floor. Vicki specializes in this area, and will answer questions (no holds barred, ladies), teach technique and ways to keep your pelvic floor healthy and happy.

I’m not kidding that this woman was a life saver. This is a silent issue among women of all ages, but especially us who have given birth recently or are pregnant.

In lieu of payment, Vicki has asked us to make a donation to a women’s shelter. Please do so when you arrive — we are donating to Bethesda House.

We’ll provide coffee and tea, and would greatly accept any goodies you want to bring to share for a snack!

Join us this week for some Indian cuisine at Signature Indian Cuisine. What do you say, butter chicken, naan bread and chat with the mamas?

This place comes highly recommended, which is important if you’re like me and very inexperienced in Indian cuisine.
