November 2009

We’re going casual this week, ladies. We’ll start off at Quiznos in north Whitby and finish up the night at Tim Horton’s nearby.

Email us at durhammoms@gmail.com if you’d like to be added to our mailing list to receive our weekly invites.  If you’re not on the list, you don’t get the invites!

See you Wednesday,

Jen and Carly

Join us this week for some tea (or whatever drink floats your boat), devilishly delicious desserts, and a chat. If you happen to be keeping up with Book Club, this month’s book was Baby Proof by Emily Giffin.

We’ll be meeting at William’s Coffee Pub in Whitby.

Email us at durhammoms@gmail.com if you’d like to be on our mailing list to receive our weekly invites.

Hope to see you there!

Jen and Carly

Carly’s physiotherapist — credited with saving her sanity and girly bits — is coming out to chat with our group about the often-overlooked, but super-important pelvic floor. Vicki specializes in this area, and will answer questions (no holds barred, ladies), teach technique and ways to keep your pelvic floor healthy and happy.

I’m not kidding that this woman was a life saver. This is a silent issue among women of all ages, but especially us who have given birth recently or are pregnant.

In lieu of payment, Vicki has asked us to make a donation to a women’s shelter. Please do so when you arrive — we are donating to Bethesda House.

We’ll provide coffee and tea, and would greatly accept any goodies you want to bring to share for a snack!

If you’d like to join us and/or be on our  mailing list for upcoming events, please email us at durhammoms@gmail.com .
