It appears hardly any of us read this month’s book. Which is weird, considering it’s February, ridiculously snowy, and really — what better things do you have to do in the winter than read?

Hopefully Jen O. will not scorn the rest of us too much, seeing as she seems to be the only good girl who read the book. Good thing we spend a lot of time on BookClub nights doing non-book things like inhaling funnel cake.

In a never-ending quest to try out new locales for meeting, we’re going to the Second Cup in Whitby this week.

It’s right at the corner of Thickson and Hwy. 2/Dundas (select Whitby from the list, and it’s the first listed). If you get there first, grab as many comfy chairs as possible.

Perhaps we will inadvertently hook up with another Durham moms group like last week at Williams! How funny was that…
