We’re heading to the movies this week, to see the acclaimed Juno.

Last time we did the movies wasn’t the best, as it started right at 8 p.m. (no time to socialize), the movie itself was rather dark and depressing (although really good — just not the right tone for a girly movie night), and everyone went straight home after.

Juno doesn’t start until 9:25 p.m. at the Oshawa Cineplex (directions here), so we’re going to meet at the Tim Hortons around the corner at our usual 8 p.m. for a caffeine-fueled chat beforehand. If you can’t make it earlier, just hook up with us at the theatre.

This Wednesday (Jan. 16) we’re checking out St. Louis Bar and Grill.

The food slideshow on their web site is miiiighty appetizing. Even still-often-nauseated-pregnant Jen thinks it looks yummy — so it must be good.
